I'm fundraising for...
There are 16 million disabled people in the UK — that’s one in four of us.
Life can be harder when you’re disabled. You’re twice as likely to be unemployed, getting the care and support you need can be a struggle, and the cost of living is higher. It’s wrong and unacceptable.
I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for Scope and help create a fairer society for disabled people.
My own experience following a road traffic collision gave me a brief insight into what life can be like when you’re living with a disability. Although my experience was only for a short period, it showed me how much everyday life can change and how important the right support can be.
Scope is working to change attitudes, break down barriers and challenge the inequality faced by disabled people.
I’d really appreciate your support as I take on the London Marathon for this important cause. Any donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.
